 Guitar/Background Vocals
My love of music started early on listening to my mom play Beethoven on the piano.
I was lucky in that an instrument was never far from my reach. Dad started me on piano.
Later my parents bought me a trumpet to play at school and a guitar to play for church
services as I got older. Thicker Than Water has given me a voice to be able to share my
love for writing music with others. One of the things that always inspired me in my love
for music was the memory of the pastor of my church growing up. He would come to our
class room with his guitar and sing our favorite songs with us. He would always say,
“Singing is like praying twice.” That is the theme that inspired the song “Melody”
which appears on our album, Canyon.
